Interview with dr Maria Knecht - Tarczewska on AACSB accreditation

The Wroclaw University of Economics and Business has been intensively introducing international quality standards for the functioning of the university for several years. One way to confirm the high quality of teaching is to obtain the accreditation of the AACSB International - one of the leading organization accrediting business schools and universities, conducting scientific activity in the areas of management, business and accounting.
During the conference Business Schools as Enablers of Global Prosperity, organized by AACSB on October 14-16, 2019 in Krakow, the interview was given by dr Maria Knecht-Tarczewska, head of the Accreditation and International Relations Section at the International Cooperation Center at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.

- From the university authorities' point of view, obtaining international accreditation such as AACSB means greater recognition on the global market. In turn, university employees will thus be more attractive partners for international research teams. For students, the benefits are also enormous - in the age of increasing mobility it is important for them to be able to visit partner universities from different regions of the world. What's more, university standards also affect the attractiveness of student diplomas. In turn, employers who recruit employees from accredited universities are confident that they will have not only theoretical knowledge but also the skills needed to implement this knowledge properly ...
