Another success of our University

The WUEB International Cooperation Center is pleased to inform the academic community of the university about the positive assessment of the Report on the progress of implementation of changes at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, which was prepared by the ICC for the European University Association (EUA) in December 2020.

On January 15, 2021, the Rector of the WUEB, prof. Andrzej Kaleta received a letter from Geneva confirming the positive assessment of the Report. In this letter, prof. Tatjana Volkova, chairwoman of the IEP Steering Committee, states, inter alia:
"The progress made by WUEB in the last two years, is impressive and evident, though, even more so in the light of the pandemic crisis which shook higher education institutions globally. With a new mission statement, various structural changes, the establishment of the Rector’s Strategic Forum 3.0 and the establishment of new competence centers, WUEB has even moved beyond some of the recommendations in the report and invested a lot of time and effort in paving the way for the future.
Other achievements well worth mentioning include the new system of periodical staff evaluations, the conceptualization of a new IQA system for education including alternatives for programme level assessment or the investments in the university’s research efforts."

The team of employees of the WUEB International Cooperation Center, responsible for the preparation of the Report on the progress of implementation of changes at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, would like to thank once again everyone who provided the data for this report!
